Oryx Hotel

Hotel Oryx provided an outstanding experience, surpassing our expectations. The apartment was huge, spotlessly clean, with a very comfortable bed and a well-equipped bathroom. The breakfasts were varied and tasty, with new choices daily. The dinners were amazing too, offering two large portions with a hookah (sisha) for just 30€. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The range of toiletries, including shampoos, creams, toothbrushes, toothpaste, comb, razors and many more added to the comfort. Daily housekeeping kept everything pristine and well-stocked, including at least two mineral waters daily. Highly recommended for a superb stay.

Everything! Great hotel, nice furniture, nice staff, and in a great position, just a couple of minutes by walk from the corniche!

The room was clean and with all the necessary amenities. On the last day they allowed me a late check out with extra fee of 100 AED.

Firstly, I must commend the hotel staff for their excellent service. Everyone was incredibly friendly, and their hospitality made our stay enjoyable. The location of the hotel is a definite highlight, offering easy access to various restaurants and allowing us to explore the area conveniently. However, I feel compelled to address a concerning incident that took away from an otherwise pleasant experience. My friend and We opted for a double room with 2 bed to save on accommodation costs, as we were more interested in allocating our budget towards exploring the city and participating in tours. While the overall service was commendable, there was an uncomfortable moment at the reception. The staff, unfortunately, made jokes in Arabic about two men sharing a room, and it was painfully obvious. This not only left us feeling uneasy but also questioned the professionalism of the establishment. I believe it's crucial for hotel staff to maintain a respectful and inclusive environment for all guests, regardless of their choices or preferences. I hope that this feedback serves as an opportunity for the hotel to address such situations and ensure that every guest feels welcome and comfortable during their stay. Despite this isolated incident, I want to reiterate that the rest of our experience at [Hotel Name] was positive, and the central location was a key factor in our enjoyment of the surrounding area. Welcoming reception, great rooms, clean. We got an upgrade. Booked almost on the spot, no problems at all. We loved everything. Breakfast was very good, and nice views on the city too. The corniche is nearby, there are plenty of shops around and food options shall you want to eat outside. We will definitely return!
